CARDIAC ARREST
IS A CIRCULATION PROBLEM
Sudden cardiac arrest is the abrupt loss of heart function and often comes without warning. An electrical disturbance usually stops blood flow to the body. Usually, someone is in cardiac arrest when they suddenly collapse, have no pulse, and are not breathing ("Sudden Cardiac Arrest," 2018).

Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone. Jocks, nerds, athletes, gamers. Everyone can be at risk of a cardiac arrest.

Heart Attack vs. Cardiac Arrest
A heart attack, as opposed to a cardiac arrest, happens when blood flow to the heart is blocked. This happens when fat and cholesterol builds up and forms a clot, which can damage and kill part of the muscle ("Heart Attack," 2018)
