Where and Why to get Screened

There are many places to get screened for possible causes for sudden cardiac arrest. The Eric Paredes Save a Life Foundation offers free heart screenings for people ages 13 to 25. Remember, cardiac arrest can happen to anybody.

As to why:

Most causes are undetectable. 15-year-old Eric Paredes had a heart arrhythmia that caused his death. Nobody knew about the problem. Getting screened could reveal these possible problems.
